FREE SCHOOL MEALS SAVE PARENTS OVER £450 A YEAR

Currently, almost one in five (17%) state-funded primary school pupils in England qualify for Free School Meals and do not claim them. But if they were to sign up for them, parents could save over £450 a year.

The cost of living crisis is now really starting to bite and it’s truly devastating, especially for parents who are doing all they can to keep their children healthy and well fed but are worried about how this will affect them and their families.

We’re urging any parents who are eligible to take up the offer of free school meals, so that they too can save hundreds of pounds a year. It’s a really simple of way to save money, whilst also ensuring children get the food they rely on nutritionally every day.

It’s easy to sign up, just contact your school and they will give you all the info you need. For those whose school uses The Farm Kitchen, here are the 4 simple steps to signing up:

  1.  Contact The Farm Kitchen for the Username and Password for your child –enquiries@thefarmkitchen.com
  2. Go to www.thefarmkitchen.com and click on log in for parents
  3. Enter the username and password you were given by The Farm Kitchen
  4. Click on the Menu tab to choose the meals your child would like to eat each day from our termly menus
